Incentives to join our Nursing Family

£500 'Golden Hello' payment

East Cheshire NHS Trust is offering a £500 ‘Golden Hello’ to all newly qualified Staff Nurses who choose to start their career with the Trust. As a student nurse you must be newly qualified and entering your first substantive appointment as a registered nurse. As a new employee, you will qualify for the payment after completion of 3 months in post (with the payment being paid into your 4th month salary).

Refer a Friend

For East Cheshire Trust employees who refer a Nurse or a Midwife into the Trust, a £500 payment will be presented.

Overseas nurses

If you are a qualified nurse but don’t have an NMC registration to work in the UK, please contact our Recruitment Team via ecn-tr.recruitment@nhs.net  / 01625 656510.  We have welcomed many overseas nurses to our trust over recent years, who have settled in the area and formed long standing networks and communities. For all overseas nurses, we can assist with practical arrangements and will support you throughout your first 12 months with our preceptorship programme and on the wards by our experienced nurses and clinicians.

Nurses from the EU/EEA

We welcome applications from the EU/EEA. You will need to successfully pass the language assessments in line with NMC requirements.  Once you join our team, you will be supported via our preceptorship programme and on the Wards by our experienced nurses and clinicians
